This policy covers all content published on mediagriduk.uk, including text, photographs, illustrations, videos, infographics, user comments, and commissioned work. It also applies to material embedded from third parties, such as social media posts or stock images, where Media Grid UK may be the primary publisher.

How do I submit a takedown request?
To submit a takedown request, email copyright@mediagriduk.uk with the following information: your full name, contact details, a description of the copyrighted work, the exact URL(s) where it appears, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf. Include your electronic or physical signature.
Please provide sufficient detail to allow us to locate the material. Vague or incomplete notices may delay processing. We may contact you for clarification if necessary.
What happens after we receive a takedown notice?
Our legal team reviews the notice against UK copyright law and our editorial policies. If the claim is valid, we will remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the relevant editor. A counter-notice may be filed by the content provider if they believe the removal was made in error.
Counter-notices must also be sent to copyright@mediagriduk.uk and include a statement of good faith. We will review counter-notices and may restore content after a reasonable period if no legal action is initiated.
How does Media Grid UK handle image rights specifically?
Media Grid UK sources images from licensed libraries, directly from photographers, or under fair dealing for news reporting. All commissioned photographs are covered by contracts that assign usage rights to Sliema Media Limited. User-submitted images are accepted only with the contributor’s warranty that they own the rights.
If we have used an image from a public source in a way that infringes your rights, we will remove it immediately upon a valid takedown notice. We also encourage rights holders to contact us before the formal process to resolve issues quickly.
